Who doesn't love to see their friends and children having fun and participating at school?
This past October 18, PJA students, faculty and parents participated in the community wide Hand-to-Hand event benefitting more than 50 local charities and non-profits. Our 8th graders participated as part of their Capstone project, but many other middle school students participated as well. View a small slide show of our students in action.
Each year our third graders are challenged with building their own Synagogues out of recycled materials and each year they are spectacular. Click here to view a sampling of the 2008/2009 school year display.
Art is everywhere at PJA! Our Second grade artists have certainly contributed to the art within our walls. But did you know their art was displayed online? Click here to see the 2008/2009 Second grade artists in action: impressionist paintings, rainforest visions, and art inspired by Leo Lioni and Dr. Seuss. Click here to see what these artists have been up to!
Cyrano De Bergerac made an appearance at the end of Taglit (Discovery term) in January 2009. Click here to see the Cyrano slideshow . Please note: Many additional talented students were involved in this wonderful production. Due to some permission settings, not all could be represented online in this slide show.
TIRKIDOO - A PJA Family Dance. Fun was had by all! Students from preschool through 8th grade, teachers, and parents got their grooves on and danced the night away. Make sure to join us next year when the fun continues! Click here for a short Tirkidoo slide show.
Last fall, PJA hosted the Big Green Event - An afternoon focused on the environment and ways to be more environmentally friendly. Our students, parents, and guests had a wonderful time with all the hands on activities planned and provided by our wonderful teaching staff and special guests.
