PJA welcomes your inquiries at any time. New applications are due February 7, 2011 and our general notification date is Monday, March 21, 2011. After March 21 we will review new applicants subject to space availability.

Students entering transitional kindergarten must be four years old by September 1 of the upcoming school year. Students entering kindergarten must be five years old by September 1 of the upcoming school year.
PJA reserves the right to deny admission to any applicant or to expel any enrolled student if the admission or continued enrollment would, in the sole judgment of the Head of School, be detrimental to the interests of PJA. Admission and continued enrollment at PJA is subject to all of PJA's policies and conditions, as amended from time to time.

PJA Events
PJA welcomes current and interested families to all public events. These events happen throughout the year at PJA and in other places across Portland on the East and West side of the Willamette. These fun events are an opportunity to visit with current PJA parents and students. If you would like to be notified of upcoming events, please email our Director of Admission, Inge Hoogerhuis or call 503.535.3599.
Coming Up:
- Community Sukkah Building - Sunday, September 19, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm - Join PJA and Campus partner the MJCC in building the Jewish community Sukkah in the courtyard at the MJCC. This free family-friendly event is a great way to get a taste for the community at PJA and the MJCC.
- Shabbat Outreach Event Eastside - Sunday, October 17, 2011 - Time and Place TBD
- PJA OPEN HOUSE - Sunday, November 14, 2010 - 1:00-3:00 pm. Lower school and preschool is the focus on this day but EVERYONE is welcome!
- PJA OPEN HOUSE - Sunday, December 5, 2010 - 1:00-3:00 pm. Middle school is the focus on this day but EVERYONE is welcome!
- PJA OPEN HOUSE - Sunday, January 9, 2011 - 1:00-3:00 pm. ALL SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE. Everyone is welcome!
School Tours
We believe that the best way to experience PJA is to tour the school during a school day. School tours and classroom observations are available during regular school hours and dates.
